Description
Set of five light-brown leather boxes, decorated with painted flowers. These boxes are copies of antique jewellery boxes from the Qing Dynasty, 200 years ago. Usually when a woman married, her mother give her some jewllery for her new married life.These boxes were therefore sometimes called 'Li He' or 'mother's gift box' .
