Set of 3 trunks in smooth orange lacquer. The bronze handle in the front is one of the mostly used handles on trunks in China. In the beginning it was a head of animal which means "one of the 9 sons of dragon" called Jiao Tu". Jiao tu has 2 closed shells on the back. People hope the handle can be closed tightly like "Jiao Tu". As time passed by, the shape of the handle changed to a vrey simple look. This kind of trunk was used as a storage trunk before.
